VONDA7 opens 2020 as she returns to her art | werk imprint to deliver ‘At The Right Pace’.

“Timing is everything", Berlin-based DJ, producer and label owner VONDA7 notes as she returns to her art | werk imprint with her latest EP ‘At The Right Pace’, with the release reflecting on the speed of life and human relationships. Merging influences from her favourite musical eras - French house and 90’s UK house - whilst giving these sounds and sonics a slick and modern feel with uplifting synth melodies and her charming vocals, February will welcome three fresh productions in the form of ‘At The Right Pace’ as she opens the New Year on home turf.

Lead track ‘At The Right Pace’ welcomes rich piano melodies amongst tough, dusty beats with delicate melodies as infectious vocal hooks go to work throughout, whilst second original cut ‘Friend, Anyone?’ shifts the emphasis towards slinking percussion licks, chopped vox snippets, rich synth melodies and a classic 90’s influenced M1 Korg organ bassline. To wrap up proceedings, there's also a ‘Stripped Down Club Workout’ version combining bumping sub-bass and low-slung acid lines with crisp, metallic drum licks to offer up a club-leaning tool dedicated to the dancefloor.
